Minutes of August 05, 1996
Chairman Bob Marshall opened the meeting at 2:01p.m., all members
were present except Marguerite Coughlin who came in later at
2:45p,m.
A resume review was held on the position of Receptionist/
Dispatcher, Outreach worker and Activities Co-ordinator. The
chairman polled the.members on ~1 and #48 for consideration.
Tony Dettorre made a motion seconded by Tom Saunders to interview
all 6 candidates for the job of Receptionist/Dispatcher, #2, ~13,
#20, #35, #36, and #48. The motion carried all members were in
favor.
Resumes for Outreach Worker was taken up, Executive Director
recommended outreach worker position be re-advertised. Joe
Qualantona made a motion seconded by Tom Saunders to interview all
6 above mentioned candidates for Outreach Worker. Motion carried,
all in favor.
Resumes for Activities Director was taken up and Marguerite
Coughlin made a motion seconded by Joe Qualantona to that effect.
Tom Saunders made a motion seconded by Marguerite Coughlin to
interview ~9, #36, and #42. Interview will take place on August 13
and 15th at 6:00p.m. in 1/2 hr. intervals at the center.
A discussion was held on the budget review. The office safe has a
broken handle and needs to be repaired. The use of the hall for
political purposes was denied. Capt. Pierce of the Fire Dept.
recertified and certified the 3 van drivers and Gordon Chafe in
C.P.R. and Heart Program.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:00p.m.
Next meeting is August 13, 1996 at 6:00p.m. at the Beverly Senior
Center, 90 Colon St., Bey., MA 01915
