The meeting was called to order by Bob Marshall, Chairman.
The minutes of the preceding meeting was approved as read by Tom
Saunders and seconded by Joe Qualantona.
No unfinished business was brought before the board.
New business began with a reviewing of the standing committees in
preparation for the hiring of a full time Receptionist/Dispatcher,
and two part-time grant workers who would perform outreach work and
activity programs for the elderly. An ad appeared in the Salem
Evening News July 10, 11, and 12th.
The personnel committee was confirmed as consisting of Joe
Qualantona, Susan Fiorini, and Tom Saunders.
The building committee was made up with Joe Dettorre, Marguerite
Coughlin, and Anthony Dettorre. Bob Marshall, Chairman, would
oversee both committees.
The August Homecoming, which is set for August 5 - 9, 1996,
discussed the involvement of the Council on Aging in the program.
More discussion and preparation was postponed to a later day with
the new director would become acquainted with the program.
Tom Saunders moved to adjourn at 3:37 pm, seconded by J.
Qualantona. So voted.
