Chairman and Ward 2 Councilor James Latter, Ward 2 Councilor Estelle Rand, Ward 2 School
Committee Member Kelley Ferretti, Mayoral Appointee Paul Manzo, Citizen Representative Karen
Fogarty, Finance Director Bryant Ayles, Beverly School Finance Director Jean Sherburne (came in
late), School Committee Member Rachel Abel (came in late), and City Council Budget Analyst Gerard
Perry. Absent Medley Long.
Discussion
Chairman Latter stated the main purpose of the meeting was to approve the minutes of May 1 and May
8, 2018. Motion made by Bryant Ayles, seconded by Paul Manzo, to approve the minutes of May 1,
2018. Motion approved unanimously. Motion made by Paul Manzo, seconded by Bryant Ayles, to
approve the minutes of May 8, 2018. Motion approved unanimously.
Chairman Latter suggested that a new Chairperson should be approved at this time for the upcoming
season for the Financial Forecast Committee. Motion made by Kelley Ferretti, seconded by Bryant
Ayles, to appoint Councilor Estelle Rand as the new Chair. Motion approved unanimously.
The Committee agreed to meet on February 26, 2019 at 7:00pm to begin discussions for next year's
Financial Forecast.
Motion made by Chairman Latter, seconded by Citizen Representative Karen Fogarty to adjourn.
Motion approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:00pm.
