This was a busy month for building usage. The Financial Report was reviewed and accepted.

Larry, a driver, has been out for two weeks with a shoulder problem. JRM has not been taking the
trash weekly as the contract states. Chris Bradley, City of Beverly, is writing a letter to them
reminding them that a weekly pick up is necessary.

buying a bus. The Friends attended the meeting. A letter to Heather Street residents is being sent
out concerning clearing for COA parking. If there are no complaints we can proceed with this
clearing. Peter and Rose Nuccio were appreciative of the plaque given to them.
The Fundraising Subcommittee met on September 7. The chairperson, Susan Albiero reported
that the committee would like to plan a May event to attract more people to the Friends. Susan
handed out cards for the board to write 3 names of people who may be interested in the Friends
and who we will invite to a meeting next Spring. The enjoyable Costume Ball made a profit of
$150 after expenses.
Building maintenance research indicates that an annual contract for $118 would cover a yearly
inspection for the outside portion of the air conditioning units. Tom suggested that Leslee call
Chris also, since HVAC contracts get technical.
NEW BUSINESS:
The staff holiday lunch is Friday, December 17 at 1 pm It's a lunch and yankee swap. Leslee has
been collecting information on purchasing a bus or leasing. Purchasing is about $45, 000 to

replacement of the vehicle is being researched. Good News! Leslee and Joe are expecting a child
in May.
