Kevin O'Reilly presided.
Mary Behrle made the motion, seconded by Margaret Altman, to accept the minutes of the
regular meeting of September 27, 2016 as read. Motion passed.

Personnel: No report.
Administration: No report.

Long Range Planning: No report.
Report of the Library Director
1) Trust Funds: Patricia Cirone reviewed FY2016 trust fund balances. 2) Flood: The library
flooded on Friday, October 21. 3) Sohier Room AC: There is still no news on fixing the AC in
the Sohier Room. 4) Mice: Patricia Cirone called an exterminator to deal with mice infestation
problem. 5) Equipment: Scannx machine has arrived and will be installed soon. 6) Personnel:
Drew Belt, head of reference, gave his notice. Position has been posted. 7) Security: There have
been a few police walk - throughs. 8) Self- Checkout: Self- checkout will go live soon. 9) Young
Adult Expansion: Brett Thibault has finished the plans for the young adult area expansion. 10)
Security Cameras: Patricia Cirone has received quote for additional cameras. 11) Programs:
Book Sale October 22 -30, Jo Jo White November 10.

Executive Session
Myron Schirer -Suter made the motion, seconded by Mary Behrle, to:
go into executive session at the request of Kevin O'Reilly to discuss the library
director's employment contract. All members in favor. Motion carried 6 -0.
Joanne Panunzio made the motion, seconded by Myron Schirer- Suter, to:
adjourn the executive session. All members in favor. Motion carried 6 -0.
Mary Behrle made the motion, seconded by Margaret Altman, to:
return to regular meeting. All members in favor. Motion carried 6 -0.
The next meeting of the board will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 6:30PM at the Main
Library.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45PM.
