Cook calls the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Sign:- Peter M Frasca DMD — Shy Frasca DMD — 109 Dodge Street
Dr. Frasca addressed the Board and explains that they are seeking to replace their 35- year -old
sign with the proposed new sign to accurately reflect who is in the practice presently. He
explains the design of the sign and notes that it will be placed in the same location as the present
sign.
Cook reviews the proposed sign and notes that she has no issues with it.
There being no further questions or comments regarding this matter:
Margolis: Motion to approve the sign as proposed for Peter Frasca and Sydney Frasca DMA
109 Dodge Street. Crosbie seconds the motion. The motion carries (4 -0).
Sign — Steez Design — 1 Washington Street — Andrew J. Bablo
Andrew Bablo addresses the Board and explains the sign that he is proposing for his business.
He states that it will be a metal sign on the front of the building. He explains the design of the
sign that will be the name of the business and will be placed above the door. He explains the
design of the building. He explains the nature of his business as a designer.
Cook and Margolis state that they have no issues with the sign.
Crosbie: Motion to approve the proposed sign for Steez Design -1 Washington Street.
Margolis seconds the motion. The motion carries (4 -0).
Sign: M. McKay — 131 McKay Street — Kristen Poulin Windover McKay LLC
Kristen Poulin explains that they are trying to provide a sculpture type marker for the building
and it is being done by Chris Williams. She reviews a rendering of the proposal noting it is a box

sign with a small amount of lighting to highlight the lines and accent it at night. She explains the
design of the sign as corten steel on a granite base. She states that she thinks it meets all of the
criteria for the sign requirements.
Crosbie notes that because it is in the R10 zoning district the proposed free standing sign will
need a special permit from the ZBA.
Cook Motion send a letter of recommendation to the ZBA that the DRB recommends
approval of the sign as presented. Crosbie seconds the motion. The motion
carries.
Iron Tree Service — 62 Dunham Road — John Maestranzi
The Board reviewed the application for the construction of a storage facility that is not visible
from the right -of -way in the IR zoning district. Crosbie explains that she questioned why this
had to come to the DRB but found that the regulations require that they review the project.
There were no additional comments or questions. No action was taken.
There being no further business to come before the Design Review Board this evening:
Crosbie: Motion to adjourn the meeting. Margolis seconds the motion. The motion carries
(4 -0).
The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
