PRESENT: Commissioners Brean, Dawe, Faulstich, Gentile, Lund, Mahoney, Nelson, and Trefry
ABSENT: Commissioner Forgione
PUBLIC: Jim Baker, Paul Beaulieu, Ace Chase, Joe Gibbons, Dave Graham, Bill Kossowan, Tom
Lyons, Ken Robinson, Craig Schuster, and John Singleton
A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Mahoney called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.

2. Reading of the Minutes for June 2016 — No Minutes
3. Reading of the Financial Report for June 2016 — Airport Manager Mezzetti presented the
financial report for June 2016. Commissioner Brean made a motion to accept the financial
report, subject to audit. Vice Chairman Faulstich seconded the motion. Motion passed
unanimously.
4. Presentation(s) —
• Airport Solutions Group (ASG) — Craig Schuster covered the items on the ASG
monthly status report e. g. RW9 approach obstructions, Nguyen property, Osgood
property, LPV to RW9, RW27 approach obstructions, RW27 GQS approach,
airport name change, RW16/34 length, and U. S. Customs office.
5. Chairman's Report — Chairman Mahoney reported on:
• The New Admin Building, Open House, and Ribbon Cutting
• City Hall meetings
• Restaurant
• Customs
• Leases
• TXY Edge Light Project
• Airport Status Presentation with Danvers Selectmen
B. OLD BUSINESS:

• Property/Legal/Finance/Noise Abatement Subcommittee — Airport Manager
Mezzetti reported on numerous noise complaints from 18 Naumkeag Row in
Danvers.
• Facility Maintenance — Vice Chairman Faulstich reported that the Building #45
renovations are progressing slowly but they are progressing.
• Website Management Subcommittee — BAC meeting time was changed from
T OOPM to 6:OOPM.
• Publicity/Public Relations Subcommittee — Commissioner Nelson updated the
commission.
• Safety & Security Subcommittee — Commissioner Gentile will talk with Airport
Manager Mezzetti.
• Airport Layout Plan Subcommittee — No Report
• Customs — Commissioner Trefry updated the commission on the status of U. S.
Customs occupying space at the New Admin Building.
• Special Projects Subcommittee — Commissioner Lund updated the commission on
the renovation status of the Vietnam War Memorial Helicopter.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fees, New
Admin Building project, Battistelli and Wyler leases, ASG contract approval, CAP rent reduction,
TXY Edge Light project, and numerous noise complaints from one address in Danvers.
D. NEW BUSINESS:
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Chairman Mahoney asked for a motion to enter into Executive Session to discuss the tenant room in
the New Admin Building. A motion was made by Commission Dawe to enter into Executive Session,
seconded by Vice Chairman Faulstich. Roll call vote, 8 -Yea and 0 -Nay.
A motion was made to exit Executive Session by Vice Chairman Faulstich, seconded by Commissioner
Lund. Roll call vote, Yea -8 and 0 -Nay.
E. TENANT COMMENTS:
• Ken Robinson is advocating for U. S. Customs to occupy the New Admin Building's tenant
space.

• Paul Beaulieu desires to occupy the tenant space in the New Admin Building.
• Bill Kossowan updated the commission on pilot medicals and discussed the Danvers Selectmen
meeting.
• Tom Lyons reminded the commission about the upcoming "Airport Day" in conjunction with
Beverly Homecoming, July 30' from 9:OOAM to 3:OOPM.
