Since the incident we have been working with our insurance provider, Architects and the Massachusetts Historical Commission to identify the proper scope of the repairs and refine the cost estimates. Now that all the parties involved are in agreement, we want to begin the repair work as soon as possible. I respectfully request that the City Council approve an appropriation of $175,540 from the Golf and Tennis enterprise fund balance to perform the building repairs. The enterprise fund balance is sufficient to meet this obligation. In the very near future we will receive the insurance reimbursement totaling $150,540 which will replenish the fund balance. The net cost to the enterprise fund will be $25,000 which is the deductible level that was in place when the incident occurred. 1: This appropriation request requires a public hearing be set prior to final Council action. I appreciate your attention to this at your upcoming meeting on May 16th. Sincerely yours, Michael P. Cahill, Mayor Referred to Finance & Property to Set a Public Hearing #110 May 16, 2016 The Honorable City Council City Hall Beverly, MA 01915 Dear Honorable Council: I hereby appoint subject to your review and recommendation Mr. Chris Gajeski, 8 '/2 Vine Street, Beverly to serve to the Conservation Commission.
