MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING

PRESENT: Commissioners Faulstich, Forgione, Lund, Mahoney, and Nelson
ABSENT: Commissioners Brean, Dawe, and Nelson
PUBLIC: Ace & Charlene Chase, Joe Gibbons, Dave Graham, Bill Kossowan, Ken Robinson, and
Chris Willenborg
A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Mahoney called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
1. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Reading of the Minutes for March 2016 — Chairman Mahoney called for a reading of the
minutes from the March 2016 meeting. Commissioner Forgione made a motion to accept
the minutes, seconded by Commissioner Faulstich. Motion passed unanimously.
Reading of the Financial Report for March 2016 — Airport Manager Mezzetti presented the
financial report for March 2016. Commissioner Faulstich made a motion to accept the
financial report, subject to audit. Commissioner Forgione seconded the motion. Motion
passed unanimously.
4. Presentation(s) —
• Airport Solutions Group (ASG) — Chris Willenborg covered the items on the ASG
monthly report to the commission.
5. Chairman's Report — Chairman Mahoney reported on:
• A problem with the pavement binder in the East Side vehicle parking lot
• The New Admin Building completion date of May /June 2016
• An airport restaurant may not be realized until two more years
• The status of the proposed Wyler lease (1010 Aviation LLC)
• The possibility of U. S. Customs based at BVY even though they would not be able to
move until May 2017(Chairman Mahoney also said Commissioner Trefry would be the
contact for the proposed Customs move)
• Commissioner Faulstich's desire to fill the Vice Chairman vacancy. Commissioner
Trefry made a motion to appoint Commissioner Faulstich as Vice Chairman of the
Airport Commission. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Lund and passed
unanimously.

B. OLD BUSINESS:
1. Subcommittee Reports
• Property/Legal/Finance/Noise Abatement Subcommittee — Chairman Mahoney
discussed a noise complaint from 105 Locust Street, Danvers.
• Facility Maintenance — Commissioner Faulstich updated the commission on the
progress at Building #45.
• Website Management Subcommittee — Commissioner Forgione reported there were
1,518 hits in March 2016. He also added more info to the website.
• Publicity/Public Relations Subcommittee — No Report
• Safety & Security Subcommittee — No Report
• Airport Layout Plan Subcommittee — No Report
• Special Projects Subcommittee — The Vietnam Helicopter Memorial is in poor shape
and needs to be taken down and re -done. Commissioner Lund will talk with East
Coast Aero Tech School and Chris Willenborg will check on some prospects.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fees, New
Admin Building project, C. I. P. funding cutbacks, MALS, the FFY15 C. I. P. project, the FAA release
of Building #45, Tom Ford meeting, RSAT meeting, and the FMV appraisal of the tenant space in the
New Admin Building.

E. TENANT COMMENTS:
• Ace Chase gave an update regarding wildlife control activity at the airport.
• Joe Gibbons gave an update on the North Shore Aero Club activities.
