The meeting was held in the Beverly Public Library
Andrew Houle, temporary Co -chair called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm
The purpose of the meeting was to allow applicants to present their proposals to the council and to ask
questions. About half of the applicants answered affirmatively to their invitations and made brief
presentations.

Other business:
We were notified that Colleen needed to withdraw her own grant application.
Caity volunteered to receive, post, and collate the rankings in advance of the voting meeting as she did
last year. The date she needs them by is November 15.
Terri made what turned out to be an erroneous comment about the open meeting requirements. All
meetings of the council are open to the public. There is no opportunity for closed executive sessions.
This correction was communicated to all council members in a followup email.
The next meeting will be held on November 5 at Porter Mill for the remainder of the grant applicant
presentations.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 pm.
