MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING

PRESENT: Commissioners Dawe, Dettorre, DiPaolo, Faulstich, Forgione, Mahoney, and Skerry
ABSENT: Commissioner Nelson
PUBLIC: Tony Bettencourt, Paul Brean, Ace and Charlene Chase, Dave Graham, and Ken Robinson
A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Mahoney called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
1. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Reading of the Minutes for June 2015 — Chairman Mahoney called for a reading of the minutes
from the June 2015 meeting. Commissioner Dawe made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded
by Commissioner Faulstich. Motion passed unanimously.
Reading of the Financial Report for June 2015 — Chairman Mahoney presented the financial
reports for June 2015. Commissioner Faulstich made a motion to accept the financial report,
subject to audit. Commissioner Dettorre seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
4. Presentation(s) — Dave Graham of Jacobs Engineering offered his support to the Airport during
the absence of former Chairman Vitale.
5. Chairman's Report — Chairman Mahoney reported:
• The Mayor told him to coordinate with David Gelineau (City Purchasing Agent) regarding
airport land sales.
• The question of receiving Fair Market Rent for City use of Building #45 (Barracks Building)
needs to be addressed with the City.
• The proposed name change from Beverly Municipal Airport to Beverly Regional Airport
should appear on the City Council Agenda in August.
• The discussion from the meeting he and Airport Manager Mezzetti had with City Hall
regarding the disconnect between City Hall and the Airport regarding the City not knowing
the process at the Airport as it pertained to such things as property releases, press releases,
and Airport Capital Improvements (C. I. P.) and his suggestion to meet with City Hall on a
quarterly basis to alleviate the problem.
• The need to approach the subject of an on- airport restaurant again; he then asked those
present for interest or ideas.

B. OLD BUSINESS:
1) Subcommittee Reports
• Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee — Chairman Mahoney talked about the status of the
New Administration Building project and the 2,500 -volt FAA cable problem.
• Noise Abatement Subcommittee — No noise complaints were reported for the month of June.
• Facility Maintenance — Commissioner Faulstich recommended having a restaurant meeting.
• Website Management Subcommittee — Commissioner Forgione reported the airport website
had 1,667 hits in June 2015. He has updated the airport contact list on the airport website and
said the City website needs to be updated.
• Public Relations Subcommittee — No Report
• Airport Safety & Security Subcommittee — Commissioner Skerry reported no calls or
complaints.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, MALS repair project status, New
Admin Building project status, BVY airport security camera project status, fence repairs, and yet -to -be
resolved items.
D. NEW BUSINESS: None
E. TENANT COMMENTS:
• Ken Robinson, North Atlantic Air — Expressed frustration on FAA's hard line regarding
approaches
• Tony Bettencourt, Airport Neighbor — Expressed concern over traffic patterns
• Ace Chase, Wildlife Control — Reported taking 2 deer
F. COMMISSION COMMENTS: None

Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner Faulstich, seconded by Commissioner Forgione. Motion passed
unanimously at 7:26PM.
