At a meeting of the selectmen on the 12th day of May, 1699, was a town rate made amounting in the
whole to the sum of fifty nine pounds, thirteen shillings and six pence & and Constable Richard Patch his
part to collect and pay is twenty eight pounds and seventeen shillings.
