1990-09-20CONSERVATION COMMISSION BEVERLY, MASSACHUSETTS MINUTES SEPTEMBER 20, 1990 Members present: Bill Liss, Glenn Terry, Nancy Lodge, George Batchelder, Vice Chairman George Batchelder chaired the meeting. Meeting called to order at 7:45 P.M. Glenn Terry motioned for a public hearing and Bill Liss seconded it. Ail in favor. #5-365 Charles Thomas, 770 Hale Street. Construction of an addition to the existing dwelling and driveway. Hancock Survey represented Charles Thomas. Bill Liss asked what changes are to be made in the bank of the stream? Hancock answered-None at all. George Batchelder-any part of the building encroaching on the stream? Hancock-None. Hearing opened to the public-No questions. Motioned made by Bill Liss to close the hearing. Seconded by Nancy Lodge. All in favor. Reconvene for a public meeting made by Glenn Terry. Seconded by Bill Liss. Ail in favor. Discussion of Willow Pond. Richard Russo, Lot 12. Requests to resubmit a Notice of Intent with 400 ft. of replication, follow-up with the Chairman to discuss legal issues. George Zambouras, DPW Commissioner, spoke on behalf of Albanese Construction regarding the Ward II Playground, #5-232. Porter Street silt barrier- siltation fence will be anchored down starting at the toe of the slope. Project will be under construction for two years but actual work will be about three months. Erosion control will be removed when the vegetation has grown. Project has been approved. Motioned by Bill Liss and Seconded by Nancy Lodge. Ail in favor. To accept the erosion control.
