At a meeting of the Assessors on the September 2nd, 1706, was two lists of a Province rate made, and
committed unto Philip White and Joseph Dodge to collect, the constables of Beverly, to pay into the
Province Treasurer each of them one hundred thirty pounds, ten shillings; Philip White's list amounting to
£133:10:00; Joseph Dodge's list amounting to £137:04:09.
