At a meeting of the Assessors of the town of Beverly, on the sixth day of October, 1703, were two lists of
Province rate made and committed to Jonathan Rayment & Samuel Corning, constables, the sum
amounting to £135:16:06, the sum in Constable Jonathan Raymond's list amounts to £67:13:08; and the
sum in Constable Samuel Corning's list amounts to £68:02:10; the sum which each Constable is to pay to
the Province Treasurer is £65:07:05, each Constable an equal proportion.
