Meeting called to order at 7pm.
Mr. Lowd called welcomed everyone to the BGT meeting. Mr. Lowd reminded the Commission
we will me approving the minutes for January; the meeting for February was canceled due to
weather conditions.
Minutes for January
Mr. Crandell motioned to accept the minutes for January, seconded by Mr. Lawler. Motion
carried 6 -0.
Finance Report
Mr. Lawler distributed the Finance Report to the Commission Members and reviewed the bills
paid for the month of February.
Winter Review
Mr. Lowd show the Commission Members and guests a slide show of the new carpet that was
installed on the second floor of the club house. They took out the ramp at the double door
entrance making the installation of the new double doors easier. They also adjusted the bar
doors as well. All the carpet surrounding the dance floor was replaced; they will get quotes on
refinishing the dance floor.
A pipe burst in the men's locker room. A circulator pump from the heater got shut off
accidentally. There were about a dozen leaks near the old bowling alley area.
Mr. Lowd showed another slide of a truck blocking the entrance to the driving range to close off
the driving range for the snow farm since the trucks were starting to damage the surface.
Mr. Lowd showed numerous slides of the back porch which collapsed due to ice dams and snow.
The pictures also show damage to the air conditioner. The insurance adjuster and Mr. Bouchard
have been at the scene and reviewed the damage. The debris has been removed. Mr. Lowd
indicated that they will place a claim with the insurance company. We will work on getting
quotes on installing rails that may have to match the others and touching up the stucco and
recently painted areas on the damaged side of the building.
Mr. Carter would like a replacement for this golf season; the members use that patio / porch
often. He asked the Commission not to wait for the claim to come in but if they could have it
replaced for this spring.
Mchugh Resort
Mr. McHugh indicated that the City will help with the damage from the salt and any damage to
the irrigation or broken heads. The City said they would help because we helped them. We
should have clearing by next week. We may have an issue with a blocked drain. The grounds
will be wet for a while; hoping it won't be a quick thaw then a freeze. The heat in the new
maintenance barn is great. They also have new maintenance equipment they are looking
forward to utilizing.
Painting
The quote on the painting is $9900 for both ends of the Club House which has already been
approved, waiting for snow and weather to be in a painting climate to obtain a schedule.
CPC Update by Mr. Lowd
Mr. Lowd stated that he went to see Mayor Cahill and explained our proposal to the CPC. He
showed Mayor Cahill the pictures that will be submitted with our application. The application
for eligibility is due for submission on March 27. The proposal description is May 8, and
includes the budget and schedule. It was suggested to add close up pictures of the damaged
areas of the building to submit with the application.
Carter Report
Mr. Carter stated that Mr. Dionne already did the buying for the ProShop. Mr. Dionne will have
the ProShop open this weekend for deposits. Mr. Dionne is booking outings. There have been
small functions in the hall; the rates will remain the same as last year. Mr. Page is doing a little
better. He loves the carpet. Mr. Page would love to see the dance floor refinished.
Mr. Lawler motioned $1,260 total to refinish the dance floor, seconded by Mr. Ascolillo. Motion
carried 6 -0.
Mr. Carter indicated that Mr. Ritchie can replace the carpet downstairs for $3822. Mr. Lawler
motioned to approve $3822 for replacing the carpet on the first floor clubhouse and possibly
include the office; seconded by Mr. Ascolillo. Motion carried 6 -0.
Mr. Carter submitted an advertisement from Gene McAuliffe of Omni Navitas Holdings
regarding Omni Solar Power Parking Cover, for the file.
Mr. Carter also stated they have new grass cutting equipment and new grinders for the course.

Mr. Lawler indicate that plumbing and bathrooms need to be on top of the list.
A guest suggested having the tile in front of the fireplace replaced when the carpet is replaced,
commission agreed.
