PRESENT: Commissioners Dettorre, Faulstich, Mahoney, Nelson, Skerry, Vitale, and White
ABSENT: Commissioners Dawe, DiPaolo, and Forgione
PUBLIC: Jim Baker, Tony Bettencourt, Ace and Charlene Chase, John Godfrey, Dave Graham, Craig
Schuster, Bill Kossowan, Ken Robinson, and Wes Rosen
A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
1. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Reading of the Minutes for January 2015 — Chairman Vitale called for a reading of the minutes
from the January meeting. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to accept the minutes,
seconded by Commissioner Dettorre. Motion passed unanimously.
Reading of the Financial Report for January & February 2015 — Commissioner White presented
the financial report for January & February 2015. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to
accept the financial report, subject to audit. Commissioner Skerry seconded the motion. Motion
passed unanimously.
4. Presentation(s) — Craig Schuster of Jacobs Engineering said they are working on the electrical
design for the FFY15 CIP project, Install TXY Edge Lights `B" & "D "; install PAPI's 9/27;
install guidance signs. Craig said the project would be approximately two and a half months. Per
Craig, their bid recommendation of Cullen Electrical Contractors, Inc. for the MALS repair
needed BAC approval. Chairman Vitale made a motion that the BAC approve Jacobs'
recommendation that Cullen Electrical Contractors, Inc. be awarded the bid for the MALS repair
in the amount of $85,900. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Nelson. Motion passed
unanimously. Note: The MALS is a MassDOT /Aeronautics -owned NAVAID and the project
repair will be 100% paid by MassDOT /Aeronautics.

B. OLD BUSINESS:
1) Subcommittee Reports
• Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee — Vice Chairman Mahoney talked about the latest New
Administration Building developments; that there's no date yet for a ground- breaking

ceremony. He also discussed the latest updated land appraisals on the FAA- released land
parcels.
• Noise Abatement Subcommittee — No Report (No complaints received)
• Facility Maintenance — No Report
• Website Management Subcommittee — No Report
• Public Relations Subcommittee — No Report
Airport Safety & Security Subcommittee — Commissioner Skerry gave an update on the
proposed airport disaster drill.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT:
• Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fee
collection, MALS repair, snow removal, and the New Admin Building.
D. NEW BUSINESS:
John Godfrey appeared before the commission to get BAC approval to acquire the Cape Ann Hangar
Associates, LLC lease from Angier Ames, which, according to the lease is allowed. Commissioner White
made a motion to approve the assignment of the Cape Ann Hangar Associates, LLC lease to Godfrey Forest
Products, LLC. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Nelson. Motion passed unanimously.
E. TENANT COMMENTS:
• Ace Chase — Observed one (1) coyote
Bill Kossowan — Gave an update on the good relationship between FAA and AOPA and the eased
rules for pilot medical exams
Wes Rosen — Reported that the air traffic count was down and updated the commission on the status
of the contract tower contract
F. COMMISSION COMMENTS:
• Commissioner Nelson asked that the new Danvers Town Manager be given an airport presentation.
