Public Meeting Minutes

Trustees Present: Joan Fairbank, Alice Bums, Kathy Doane, Joyce Frisiello
Trustees Absent: Mark Flagg, Kevin Hobin
Others in attendance: Bruce Doig
Discussion of park projects, past, current and future for the benefit of the new trustees as well
funding available and the process of paying bills.
The Trustees have received a request from Josie Mario, working in partnership with the Beverly
Recreation Department, for a donation of $25,000 towards the design and installation of a new
playground at Lyons Park. The anticipated total funding to be raised is $125,000, of which
$10,000 has been donated.
Alice Bums made a motion to donate $20,000 towards the Lyons Park playground equipment.
Kathy Doane seconded the motion. Joyce Frisiello had additional questions.
Vote was taken and passed unanimously.
It was agreed that another meeting will be held in late May. Date to be decided later.
