FIRST PUBLIC HEARING #5-398 PIECEWICZ-SEWER LINE CONSTRUCTION AT
32 & 33 RIVERVIEW STREET ON LOTS 84 & 89 ADJACENT TO THE BASS
RIVER.
HANCOCK SURVEY ENGINEERING CO., REPRESENTING CHUCK JOHNSON. THE
APPLICANT HAS A FAILING CESSPOOL, DRAINING OUT INTO THE BASS RIVER.
A NEW PLAN WAS SUBMITTED: DEPICTING THE LEECHING AREA DESIGN
SHOWING 300 SQUARE FEET WITH A CLAY BARRIER. IT WILL BE 2~ WIDE
AND 2~ FEET DEEP. CHUCK JOHNSON HAS MET AND CONSULTED WITH LEO

(2) HOUSES. EACH LOT WILL HAVE ITS OWN DRIVEWAY. THE DRAINAGE AND
CONSERVATION EASEMENT WERE PREVIOUSLY DONATED TO THE CITY OF
BEVERLY. LOT 29A, ONE FOOT OF FILL AROUND THE GARAGE TO FORM A
UNIFORM SLOPE. A GRAVEL DRIVEWAY WILL BE ABANDONED AND A NEW
DRIVEWAY WILL BE PUT IN.
LOT 29B - VERY LITTLE EXCAVATING WILL BE DONE, HAY BALES WILL BE

THOMAS NEVE - 62.3 FEET=FLOOD ZONE/WETLAND IS BETWEEN 62 & 64.
VINNIE COTREAU - WOULD LIKE A SITE VISIT WITH THE WETLANDS FLAGGED,
ALSO THE CORNERS OF THE HOUSES STAKED AND A CENTERLINE IN THE
DRIVEWAY TO MAKE THE SITING EASIER TO DETERMINE. THE FIRST HOUSE
IS TO BE FLAGGED. ALSO, TO THE EASEMENT ON THE PLAN AND THE FLOOD
PLAIN.

THOMAS NEVE - YES THERE WILL BE BASEMENTS IN THE HOUSES.

THOMAS NEVE - IT IS GRAVEL NOW, MAYBE HOTTOP LATER.
CHAIRMAN GILMORE - THAT COULD BE STATED IN THE ORDER OF CONDITIONS
THAT IT SHOULD BE OF A POROUS MATERIAL, IF NOT GRAVELED.
ALSO, CONCERNING THE TREE REMOVAL ON THE PLAN BY BEALS AND THOMAS,
IT IS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE PRESENT PLAN.
