1697-03-05[Selectmen's Meeting March 5, 1697] At a meeting of the Selectmen March 5, 1696/7, the followin receipt eceipt was entered, it being written on the back side of a warrant of £34:10:00, dated the 17th day of April, 1695, and directed to Jacob Griggs, Cnnetnhle Boston June 23rd, 1695. Received of Mr. Jacob Griggs, Constable of Beverly, thirt f� pounds, ten shillings in full of this within mentioned warrant. I say received from Mr. James Taylor, Treasurer. £34:10:00 Jer. Allen At a meeting of the Selectmen March the 5th, 1696/7, the following receipt was entered, it being written on the back side of a warrant of £18:13:06, dated October the 1st, 1695, directed to Jacob Griggs, Constable in Beverly. Boston, February 21st, 1695. Received from Mr. Jacob Griggs, Constable of Beverly, eighteen pounds thirteen shillings & six pence, in full of the within mentioned warrant. Received per order James Taylor, Treasurer Jer. Allen At the same meeting of the Selectmen the following receipt was entered, it being written on the back side of a warrant of £22:14:07, dated the 2nd day of September 1695 and directed to Jacob Griggs, Constable of Beverly. Boston, February 21st, 1695. Received of Mr. Jacob Griggs, Constable of Beverly, twenty two pounds, fourteen shillings & seven pence, in full of the within mentioned warrant. Allen At a meeting of the Selectmen March the 5 "' 1696/7, then reckoned with Deacon Peter Woodbury on account of a town rate, and the town is now four shillings on the said account, indebted to the said Deacon Woodbury.
