1696-12-01[Selectmen's Meeting December 1, 1696]
At a meeting of the Selectmen December the 1st, 1696 John Trask, Constable brought the following
receipt viz: Received by me, William Bath seven pounds in money of Constable John Trask, according to
order of the Town Clerk, as witness my hand November the 27th, 1696.
Mark of William Bath the which seven pounds is for the payment of said Bath, for the keeping of Joshua
Turland in the year 1695.
At the same meeting the said John Trask paid to Mrs. Ruth Haskins the sum of two pounds and ten
shillings money out of the town rate, the which the said Mrs. Ruth Haskins did then acknowledge she had
received of said Trask, according to order dated November 10th, 1696.
