1696-08-04[Selectmen's Meeting August 4, 1696]
At a meeting of the selectmen August 4th, 1696, John Stone who was Constable for the year 1692, had
showed the following receipt, the which is in full for what he has to pay to the said Mr. Hale for that year.
Received of John Stone's order thirty two pounds out of the ministry rate, when he was collector for me,
for the year begun sixteen hundred ninety two; and received by me March 3, 1695/6. John Hale.
