June the 18th, 1695. At a meeting of the Selectmen of Beverly, Capt. William Raymond & Capt. John
Dodge, were appointed to meet with such as shall be sent from Wenham, at the house of Benjamin
Edwards on the 20 of June instant, with orders as followeth, viz: to Capt. William Raymond & Capt.
John Dodge, these are to signify unto you that you are chosen and appointed, to meet such gentlemen as
shall be sent from Wenham, at the house of Benjamin Edwards on the 20th day of this instant June, at
nine of the clock in the forenoon, to perambulate on the line and renew the bounds between their town
and ours, as formally granted and settled.
