1695-02-16[Selectmen's Meeting February 16, 1695] At a meeting of the Selectmen the 21S of February, 1694/5, Constable Joseph Herrick brought the receipts following, viz.: this may certify whom it may concern, that Joseph Herrick & Samuel Stone, Constable for Beverly for Essex the County rate, have paid the full sums of fourteen pounds, eighteen shillings, which appears by their receipt brought to me July the 5th, 1694. John Appleton, treasurer of the County Boston, November 5th, 1694. Received of Mr. Joseph Herrick, Constable of Beverly, twenty two pounds, fourteen shillings and three pence, being in full of a warrant for twenty two pounds, fourteen shillings & three pence. I say received for Mr. James Taylor, Treasurer £22:14:03. Jer. Allen Boston, February 13, 1694. Received of Mr. Joseph Herrick, Constable of Beverly, thirty six pounds, five shillings & seven pence, in full of a warrant for forty seven pounds, ten shillings and eleven pence. I say received for Mr. James Taylor, Treasurer. Jer. Allen
