1694-07-25[Town Meeting July 25, 1694] At a general town meeting of the freeholders and other inhabitants of the town of Beverly, who are by law qualified to vote in town affairs, legally warned on the 25th day of July, 1694. Lieut. Andrew Elliott, Mr. Zachariah Herrick, Deacon Peter Woodbury, John Balch & George Hull, were chosen assessors for the town for the year ensuing, the above said persons serving according to law, on the seventh day of August, 1694.
