1694-05-04[Town Meeting May 4, 1694] May 4, 1694. At a general meeting of the freeholders & the inhabitants of the town of Beverly, qualified as the law directs legally warned, Lieut. Andrew Elliott was chosen representative for the said town, to attend their Majesties' service in a Great & General Court or assembly, appointed to be convened, held and kept for their Majesties' service at the town house in Boston, on Wednesday the 30th day of this instant May.
