1694-03-19[Time Meeting March 19, 1694] At a general town meeting of the freeholders and other inhabitants of the town of Beverly, on the 19 of March, 1693/4, qualified as the law directs, John Black & Joseph Trask were chosen haywards or field drivers, for the year ensuing, & William Dodge, second, and Joseph Harris junr., were also chosen at the time above said, to see to the due observance of an act relating to horses or horse kind, going on our town common for the year ensuing, and John Trenance was chosen pound keeper for the year ensuing.
