1693-09-20[Town Meeting September 20, 1693] Sept. 20th, 1693. At a general meeting of the freeholders and other inhabitants of the town of Beverly, qualified according to law, Capt. William Raymond was chosen representative for said town, to attend their Majesties' service in Great & General Court or assembly, to be holden for their Majesties' service, at the town house in Boston, on Wednesday the 27th of this instant, September. At the same town meeting Capt. William Raymond & Mr. Nehemiah Grover, were chosen to join with Capt. Paul Thorndike, Lieut. Andrew Elliott & Lieut. William Dodge as a committee, according to record bearing date 8 May, 1693.
