1693-10-18[Town Meeting October 18, 1693]
At a general meeting of the freeholders & and other inhabitants of the town of Beverly, qualified
according to law legally convened on 18 of October, 1693, Capt. John Dodge was chosen representative
for said town, to attend their Majesty's service in Great & General Court or assembly, to be held & kept
for their Majesty's service at the town house in Boston, on Wednesday the eighth day of November next
ensuing.
At the same town meeting it was voted that the Reverend Mr. John Hale hath privilege for the pasturage
of four cows, or other creatures equivalent thereunto on our town common land, appointed to be fenced
in, according to bylaw bearing the date the 26th Sept. 1693.
