At a general town meeting of the inhabitants of Beverly, warned according to law, there were chosen for
Constable for the year ensuing, John Conant for Bass River Ward and John Stone for Mackerel Cove
Ward.
At the same town meeting the 12th day of July, 1692, were chosen for the Selectmen for the year ensuing,
Capt. John Dodge, Deacon John Hill, Mr. Roger Haskins, Nehemiah Grover and Thomas Gage.
