At a selectmen's meeting in the house of Abigail Stone, widow, then reckoned with Thomas Gage
constable for Mr. Hale's rate, that is to say for the overplus of said rate, and said Gage is fully acquitted
for said overplus and all the rate, & he remains debter to the town the just sum of three shillings.
