COMMISSION MEMBERS:
Daniel Murphy — Chair - person, George Johnson, Al Torsey, Eric Overberg, Don Berman,
Alex Ushakoff, Muriel Zaginailoff, Alternate - Neil Overberg.
• COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT:
Daniel Murphy — Chair - person, , Eric Overberg, Don Berman, Al Torsey, Muriel
Zaginailoff , Alex Ushakoff, and George Johnson.
• PUBLIC PRESENT: Spouses of commission members present, and Diane and Ron Costa
• A quorum being present the meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M by chair - person
Daniel Murphy.
A motion was made and seconded to accept the October meeting
minutes. There was no November meeting.
• OLD BUSINESS:
• Communications and correspondence: NONE.
• Operation alert: Ongoing: A single point of contact has to be appointed by the Mayor.
• NEW BUSINESS:
• Thanks to Dan for hosting the holiday party and providing refreshments. A congenial
time was had by all .... thanks again Dan.
• Dan announced that commission members whose terms expire in 2013 will expire in
January 2013.
• Dan introduced Diane Costa as a potential new commission member.
• The CAC mission statement was voted on and accepted unanimously.
• The proposal to create a vice chairman position was voted on and accepted
unanimously.
• The CAC statement of responsibilities was voted on and accepted unanimously.
• OPEN ISSUES:
• Search for new commission members.
• Operation alert.
• I -Net build out. Ongoing.
The next CAC meeting will be held at the Beverly Public Library, third floor conference
room On Thursday January 24th, 2013 at 7:00 P.M.
At 4:30 P.M. a motion was made and seconded to adjourn.
