Old Business:
Michele Gordon reports that the presentation to the School committee regarding a bench dedicated to Art
Daignault went well and that they have approved the placement of the bench. Michele made a motion to
approve $1000.00 for the cost of the bench and the engraving. Seconded by Candace Pike, passed 5 -0.
Wording for the engraving to be discussed at our next meeting.
New Business:
Tina Cassidy has a copy of the plans for the MBTA parking garage and will give them to Steve
Fredrickson to have him check for compliance. She will also call George Doherty from the MBTA to
check the number of Handicap Parking spaces.
Candace Pike made a motion to cover an annual stipend for Steve Fredrickson and his assistants for a
period of one year. Seconded by Kevin Gallant, passed 5 -0

The next meeting of the Commission is November 15, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, Y floor.
