Finance Report
Mr. Lawler distributed the Finance Report to the Commission members. He indicated the
amount of $76,450 going forward; and expenses totaled $8,400 for the month.
The Carter Report
Mr. Carter reorted that the rounds were up 10% over last year and is calling it a
successful year. He is working on putting together more advertisement; Northshore
Magazine, Salem News, he has done a Birthday Club. He mention Mr. Tim Foley had
passed away and the membership committee would like to purchase a bench.
Tennis (Mr. Carter)
Mr. McHugh has been helpful wetting down the courts; there have been a lot of
tournaments. They have been able to move over to Bass River when it rains when
necessary.
The McHugh Report
Mr. McHugh indicated that the pump should be up and running by noon tomorrow;
awaiting the final test.
The Dionne Report
Mr. Dionne stated they had the Club Champs this past weekend which went well; 85
players. He also indicated that the outings were going well.
The Dunn Report present)
Mr. Lowd distributed the up -to -date Capital Improvement Report indicating the
distribution of the $550,000 spread mainly absorbed by the lift and ramp and a few other
fill ins. The architect is still working on the drawings.
The Page Report
Mr. Page reports that the Banquet business is doing better; the chef is doing a fabulous
job. He did submit a bid for an airconditioner which was discussed at the previous
meeting; which will be voted at the next meeting; no quarum this evening.
The Murphy Report
Mr. Murphy had gotten preliminary quotes on netting /poles; drilling ledge for poles is
extra on the top of hill. This man also did Kernwood Country Club. We may be looking
at 80" poles and 15 holes at $15,000.
He also indicated that he ocmpleted bunker 10 & 14; drainage to right side of 2; lined 6th
tee and the left side of 5 drainage. He continuously cleaning things up throughout the
course.
