Meeting called to order at 7pm.
Minutes for June 2012
Mr. Richardson motioned to approve the minutes for June, seconded by Mr. Crandall.
Motion carried 5 -0.
Finance Report
Mr. Lawler could not attend this evenings meeting but Mr. Lowd distributed the up -to-
date Finance Reports. The Commission reviewed the reports and the fund balance will
carry into next fiscal year.
Capital Improvement Account
Mr. Dunn distributed an updated spread sheet detailing the cost of the anticipated repair
costs of the bathrooms /ramps /lifts, etc. The bids will go out next month. The
spreadsheet details the cost of all anticipated improvements to become ADA compliant.
We were also approved for $500,000 to use if necessary.
Mr. Dunn did state that we were denied grant money at this time but we would reapply
each year. He did also indicate that the priority is the ramp and lift and the deadline is the
end of the year or "good faith" if you will.
The Carter Report
Mr. Carter indicated that the grounds are solid. He distributed his spreadsheet of
comparison on monthly rounds reports. He states everything is on track. He also
indicated that the Jr. Tour was a success. This coming weekend is a big event. The
course is in great shape and all is moving forward.
The Murphy Report
Mr. Murphy indicated that they are still working on getting the pumps up and running.
They are still waiting on a part to arrive. Hopefully will be up and running in two weeks.
The electricity is in on the new building from the pole on the street. Will move the
equipment into the new building and will run more efficiently. There is some drainage
issues on the base of the hill on #8. Behind #6, 5 th hole need toe drain. #2 drainage
successful. New flags & New poles....
The Dionne Report
All is good!!!!!!
The LaPierre Report
Mr. LaPierre indicated that tennis is going well. There is an event this weekend with 300
Jr's coming in. The Sr. team went to Arizona and came in second.
The Page Report
Mr. Page indicated that functions are going well. He has booked two weddings for next
year stating that a lift will be in place. He has lost weddings this year due to no elevator
or lift. He is still looking for air conditioning bids. He also had a beer cooler down for
six day.
Mr. Dunn stated that he will call Mr. Bouchard to help find someone to repair it.
