1. Neil Dou approved as temporar chair with the retirement of past

1. The Ma g ives the committee a complete histor of the pro and .
noted that the EIR for the pro is 10-12 y ears old and there would be a
need for a new stud to be done
2. While atone time, the Ma appealed to the federal g overnment for the
fundin for the pro he was now workin with the Secretar of
Transportation's Office,.
3. The Ma also stated that he had met with the Secretar of Housin and
Development about the future of the proposed pro
4. He stated that the cit and state would tr to seek approval to fund the
pro throu a process called "I-Cubed". The Cit would need to show
state fundin sources that the development would g enerate more
economic g rowth than what the cost of the pro would be.
5. The Ma and Denise Deschamps, who is assistin the Ma in the earl
sta of this pro were scheduled to attend a meetin with the
Secretar later that week
6. Neil Dou also spoke about meetin with abutters to the proposed
pro and about meetin with propert owners whose businesses would
have a positive effect if this project came to fruition
7. Some of the other interested propert owners mentioned included ,Beverl
Hospital, Cummin Properties, Santin En Cell Si Technolo
and The North Shore Music Theater
8. The pro is bein talked of as a re benefit involvin g roups like the
Metropolitan Plannin Council and the Alliance for Economic Development
