COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT:
Daniel Murphy - Chairman, Eric Overberg, George Johnson, and Kim Allyn.
PUBLIC PRESENT:
• Walter Kosmowski, (BEVCAM), Paul Earl (BEVCAM), Don Berman (BEVCAM)
A quorum being present the meeting was called to order at 7:00.00 P.M.
• Old business:
• Communications and correspondence: None
• The November minutes were amended, voted on, and accepted. The December
meeting was cancelled due to lack of a quorum.
• Operation alert: Ongoing.
• Bevcam's move to the new high school is on schedule.
• New business:
• BevCam report: Walter Kosmowski presented the October BevCam report re: staff,
production schedule, project outreach, technical issues and financials.
• Contract talks with Comcast:
Response from Comcast was received on January 3, 2011.
• Capital budget discussion — ongoing.
• I -Net — discussion on Comcast's maintenance of the I -Net still ongoing.
• Third channel — Comcast questioned why a third channel is necessary
as there is room on channels 10 and 22 for more content.
• Open issues
• Search for new commission members
• Operation alert.
The next meeting is Thursday February 24, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at BevCam
location in the Memorial Building, 502 Cabot St. Beverly.
At 8:40 P.M. the meeting was adjourned.
