MINUTES OF MEETING
May 20, 2010
Members Present: Karen Bloodgood, Kevin Gallant co-chair, Michele Gordon, John Swain,
Members Absent: Arthur Daignault, Tina Cassidy, Candace Pike co-chair, Butch Towne

Old Business:
. Michele Gordon made a motion to approve the minutes from the April and May meetings. John
Swain seconded. Motion passed 4-0.
. Art Daignault will be asked how the commission can check the plans for the High School to
ensure that an assisted listening device will be installed in the auditorium.
New Business:
. Candace Pike received a telephone call from the new owner of the Little Peach Building on Essex
Street. They inquired about the necessity of an elevator to the basement. They were informed that
if only employees will have access one is not required.
. Candace Pike received a telephone regarding from the Airport Commission regarding a trailer that
may be donated to be used for training. They wanted information on the ADA requirements. They
were informed of the door widths, access isles, and desk height and ramp requirements.

The next meeting of the Commission is July 15,2010, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 3rd floor.
