A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Reading of the Minutes for July 2010 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of the minutes from
the July meeting. Commissioner Dettorre made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Vice
Chairman Mahoney. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Reading of the Financial Report - Commissioner White presented the financial report for July
2010. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to accept the report, subject to audit, seconded by
Commissioner Barnico. Motion passed unanimously.
4. Presentation(s)-
. Jacobs Engineering - Dave Graham and Craig Schuster updated the commission on airport
capital improvement projects.
. Bill Cianfrocca - Danvers resident Bill Cianfrocca spoke of his concern for short approaches
at the end of Runway 9.
5. Chairman's Report - Chairman Vitale....
. Talked about an airport cookout on August 29,2010 at 1:00PM.
. Explained emergency procedures for Hangar #4 gate failures
B. OLD BUSINESS:
1) Lease Assignment - Motion by Commissioner White to approve the transfer of the CG Leasing,
Inc. lease to Mr. Stuart Abelson, subject to the City Solicitor's review of the estoppel and
assignment documents. Vice Chairman Mahoney seconded the motion. Motion passed with seven
(7) Yea's. Commissioner Barnico abstained.

2) Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney updated the commission on
the status of the airport parcels. He also updated the commission on a supportive letter
received regarding the Salem News "Letter To The Editor" response that the Chairman, and
Airport Manager sent in response to letters from Danvers resident Stan Svenson and Wenham
resident Bob Hutchins.
. Noise Abatement Subcommittee - No July 2010 noise complaints
. Facility Maintenance and Web site Management Subcommittee - Commissioner Forgione
reported that we have the ability to edit any BVY web site page.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - Commissioner McEvoy talked about a proposed
"bvyonlocation.com" web site and advertising signs.
. Environmental Issues Subcommittee (& NSCC Aviation Science Program Update)-
Commissioner Barnico discussed the in-process senior housing development at Cherry Hill
and that Aero Manufacturing was proceeding with its building addition.
. Airport Safety & Security Subcommittee - Commissioner Dettorre provided an update on the
Hutchins tree obstruction.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fee collections,
delivery of the Kawasaki mule, environmental assessment review status of leeching field property, Cherry Hill
senior housing development, airport consultant RFQ's, CG Leasing, Inc. lease assignment, death of Arthur
Allen, Hutchins tree eminent domain easement, new tower chief, and airport maintenance.
D. NEW BUSINESS:

E. TENANT COMMENTS:
. Joe Gibbons of the North Shore Aero Club said 67 people attended their FAA-sponsored safety
semmar.
F. COMMISSION COMMENTS:
. Commissioner Forgione commented on the outstanding renovations taking place at Hangar #2.
G. ADJOURNMENT:
Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner DiPaolo, seconded by Commissioner Dettorre. Motion passed
unanimously.
