CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 8: 15 PM. 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Reading of the Minutes for May 2010 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of the minutes from the May meeting. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Commissioner Forgione. Motion passed unanimously. 3. Reading of the Financial Report - Commissioner White presented the financial report for May 2010. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to accept the report, subject to audit, seconded by Commissioner Dettorre. Motion passed unanimously. 4. Presentation(s)- . Jacobs Engineering - Craig Schuster reported that they are still waiting for FAA's review comments on the Airport Layout Plan Update (ALPU). 5. Chairman's Report - No Report 1 AMENDED MINUTES BEVERLY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING MONDAY, JUNE 14, 2010 B. OLD BUSINESS: 1. A Public Hearing relative to the taking of an avigation easement in real property at 26 Burley Street, Wenham, MA, 01984 was held on Monday, June 14,2010 at the Beverly Public Library at 7:00PM. 2. Subcommittee Reports: . Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney discussed a visit to the proposed C.AP. modular building and C.AP.'s proposed support in the Tenant- At-Will. Commissioner DiPaolo made a motion to approve the placement of the C.AP. modular building in back of Hangar #2, seconded by Commissioner Dettorre. Motion passed unanimously. Vice Chairman Mahoney also reported on the RFP opening for the property in back of the AdminlMaint building. The Scanlon Landscaping Company proposed $200,000 and Cicoria Tree Service proposed $276,000. He said the Mayor will soon appoint a subcommittee to discuss the proposals. . Noise Abatement Subcommittee - No Report . Facility Maintenance and Web site Management Subcommittee - Commissioner Forgione reported that the recent facility inspections went well, and that the main discrepancies were out of date fire extinguishers inspections. . Public Relations Subcommittee - No Report . Environmental Issues Subcommittee (& NSCC Aviation Program Update)- Commissioner Barnico reported that National Fly Day held at Beverly Flight Center was successful. They signed up four people for flight lessons. . Airport Safety & Security Subcommittee - Commissioner Dettorre discussed the plan to have another aircraft disaster drill. The drill will have to take place in the fall. C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT: Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fee collections, Airport Layout Plan Update (ALPU), Kawasaki mule acquisition status, potholes, WAAS, airship parking, new FAA Order 5190-B, leeching field EA, RFP opening, C.AP., and a Public Hearing on the same night as the BAC meeting. 2 AMENDED MINUTES BEVERLY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING MONDAY, JUNE 14, 2010 D.
