A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Reading of the Minutes for January 2010 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of the
minutes from the January meeting. Commissioner White made a motion to accept the
minutes, seconded by Vice Chairman Mahoney. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Reading of the Financial Report - Commissioner White presented the financial report for
January 2010. Commissioner Dettorre made a motion to accept the report, subject to
audit, seconded by Vice Chairman Mahoney. Motion passed unanimously.
4. Presentation(s)-
. Jacob's Engineering - Dave Graham reported that we would have a W AAS on
9/23/10 with minimums of 300- 350', down from 581 ' .
5. Chairman's Report - Chairman Vitale....
. Reported on the status of the possible interest of the Terrafugia Company to locate
at BVY
. Awarded a plaque to Commissioner Paul Lydon who is leaving the commission as of
February 2010
B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee -Vice Chairman Mahoney reported to the
commission on the airport presentation to the Danvers Selectmen.

. Noise Abatement Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney reported no February
noise complaints. He also talked about a noise-related article he had read.
. Facility Maintenance and Web site Management Subcommittee - Commissioner
Forgione reported he was still trying to arrange for Beverly Fire Department facility
inspection.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - Commissioner DiPaolo reported that the cost for
the East Side vinyl parking lot advertising signs would be approximately $200 each.
. Environmental Issues Subcommittee (& NSCC Aviation Program Update)-
Commissioner Barnico reported on the membership decline in the Aviation Science
Program at NSCC. It went from 37 to 32.
. Airport Safety & Security Subcommittee - Commissioner Dettorre reported on the
desire to have another crash drill this summer.
. Airport Operations - John Duval reported on his latest AAAE meetings and a TSA
meeting.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fee
collections, January noise complaints (None), snow removal, lease status, as-needed snow removal
operator, P API, new aerial map, Angier Ames hangar status, wildlife management, Aircraft Sales
Tax Exemption status, and airport security.
D. NEW BUSINESS:

E. TENANT COMMENTS:
. Ace Chase gave an update on fence repairs, coyotes, and proposed airport sign replacements.

Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner Lydon, seconded by Commissioner White. Motion
passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 9:28PM.
