Bruce calls the meeting to order.

Newhall states that the sign has already been installed.
Dang states that the coloring is the opposite of the presented design because the negative space is
white for "Family Market".
Newhall states that they don't like the white but the sign's location, far from the street edge and
tucked behind the Chinese food restaurant, makes it so that the sign is not shining directly onto
Cabot Street.
Dang states that the box was up so the just needed to place the sign panel on the box. Dang
states that it is only on for about 1 or 2 hours in the evening. He adds that he closes at 8:30 pm.
Bruce asks if the Board can control any future changes to the sign design and mandate that the
background of any new sign will not be bright white.
Newhall states that the Board can state that they don't like the white background. She agrees to
include a statement on this point in the letter.
Finch: Motion to approve the design as presented provided the approval letter include a
comment stating that the Board is not in favor of the bright white background, seconded by
Bruce. Passes 4-0.

Voting members are Bruce and Newhall.
Newhall: Motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Bruce. Passes 2-0.
Finch: Motion to adjourn, seconded by Bruce. Passes 4-0.
The meeting is adjourned at 7:00 pm.
