Commissioners Barnico, Dettorre, Forgione, Mahoney, Nelson, Tosi, Vitale, and White

A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for March 2009 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of the
minutes from the February meeting. Commissioner Tosi made a motion to accept the
minutes, seconded by Vice Chairman Mahoney. Motion passed unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - Commissioner White presented the financial report for
March 2009. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to accept the report, subject to
audit, seconded by Commissioner Dettorre. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Chairman's Report - No report
4. Presentations:
. Ms. Heather Kent reported on the upcoming summer activities at Patton Park in
Hamilton and offered to accommodate any airport booths.
. Jacobs Engineering - Dave Graham reported that Gerry Marsella will do the certified
survey regarding the RW 16 WAAS; Craig Schuster reported on the necessity of
City Hall not to hold up the RW 16-34 and Taxiway "F" contracts.
B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee -Vice Chairman Mahoney reported on the
M.A.C. March meeting and RW 16-34 Crack Repair Project. He also stated that
M.A.C. Executive Director Chris Willenborg reported the statewide airport
economic benefit study will be updated. Vice Chairman Mahoney then updated the
commission regarding the Tom Ford lease situation and reported on the Mayor's

airport budget meeting. Other topics discussed included Ron Roma's proposed
development and lease and Angier Ames' interest in hangar development.
. Noise Abatement Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney reported that the
tentative date to meet with Thorpe Circle resident Nick Geannaris was April 21,
2009.
. Facility Maintenance and Web site Management Subcommittee - Commissioner
Forgione reported that the fee for BevCam membership was $35.00.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - No report
. Environmental Issues Subcommittee (& NSCC Aviation Program Update)-
Commissioner Barnico updated the commission on a May 5,2009 NSCC Aviation
Program meeting.
. Airport Safety & Security Subcommittee - No report
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fee
collections, 2008-2009 snow fall total, C.AP. newsletter, Ads In Flight, brush cutting, security
fencing, RW 16-34 Crack Repair contracts, wildlife permit, Taxiway "F" reconstruction, and airport
maintenance.
D. NEW BUSINESS:
. Met in Executive Session to discuss an airport tenant's financials
. Motion - Commissioner White made a motion in regular session to send Beverly Airport
Mini Storage LLC a letter of rent default, seconded by Commissioner Dettorre. Motion
passed unanimously.
E. COMMISSION COMMENTS:
None
F. ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Tosi. Motion passed
unanimously.
