A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for January 2009 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of the
minutes from the January meeting. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to accept the
minutes, seconded by Commissioner Forgione. Motion passed unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - Commissioner White presented the financial report for
January 2009. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to accept the report, subject to
audit, seconded by Commissioner Tosi. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Chairman's Report - Chairman Vitale reported the following:
. Updated the commission on the status of the proposed sale of non-aviation use
property to the Kelleher Trust
. Tree clearing is now on hold due to the snowfall
. The Danvers Cable Company DVD "Town Topics" regarding airport noise was
played.
4. Presentations:
. Jacobs Engineering - Craig Schuster updated the commission on the RW 16-34
Crack Repair Project
B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee -Vice Chairman Mahoney updated the
commission on the proposed non-aviation use property purchase by the Kelleher

Trust. He also updated the commission on Something Different's request for rent
relief.
. Noise Abatement Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney spoke about setting up a
proposed meeting with Mr. Nick Geannaris of Thorpe Circle.
. Facility Maintenance and Web site Management Subcommittee - Commissioner
Forgione reported on a broken link that he will investigate.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - No report
. Environmental Issues Subcommittee (& NSCC Aviation Program Update)-
Commissioner Barnico reported that there were 33 students in the Aviation Program.
. Airport Safety & Security Subcommittee - No report
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly and annual aircraft traffic count, monthly
landing fee collections, one (1) January noise complaint, airport fencing and brush removal status,
federal economic stimulus project, Cherry Hill senior housing project, snow removal, minor
corrections on the A B Aviation lease for Building #54, and airport maintenance.
D. NEW BUSINESS:
. Danvers Cable Company DVD "Town Topics" regarding airport noise
E. COMMISSION COMMENTS:
. There were numerous comments made by commissioners regarding the untruths in the
"Town Topics" DVD.
. Commissioner Barnico confirmed that the state budget did not contain a repeal of the
Aircraft Sale & Aircraft Parts Sales Tax Exemption.
