Thomson asks Planning Director Tina Cassidy to address Rosemary Maglio's concerns about the physicality of spaces that go right up to the parking lot line. Cassidy explains that there is a 12-foot wide public walkway, which leads to the waterfront and then turns east along the water, over the Kinzie's property, where it is right up against the boats. She adds that the City has been in court for years and is willing to negotiate this issue by opening the walkway. Thomson confirms that this area is not affected by this zoning change and the amendment does not give any of this space away.
