1992-06-25June 25, 1992
A meet]ha of the-Commissioners of Trust Funds for the City of Beverly
was held at the Beverly National Bank at 8:00 a.m.. In attendance were
James Dawson, Lawrence Smith, Peter Copelea and Alice M. Remare.
A discussion of the Nancy Millerr Fund with regard to income earned was
held. The income is being figured on the "Cost Value" rather than The
"Market Value" which results in a lower income earned, therefore a
request will be made to the Trust Fund officers, Jim Rich and Steve
Curran, to refigure the income back to March 1991 on the "Market Value"
before the June 30, 1992 report is made.
Requests from the Beverly YMCA and Beverly School for the Deaf were read
and the Commissioners voted to contribute $4,000.00 to the Beverly YMCA
for needy Beverly children, $l,000.00 to Beverly Female Charitable
Society and $1,000.00 to the Beverly School for the Deaf to help cover
expenses for their "Four Night Boarding Option". These funds are from
the Nancy A. Millerr Trust Fund.
When the checks are sent, a request will be made to have a plaque made
and displayed in honor of the contribution from the Nancy A. Millerr
Fund from each recipient and a return letter stating that the funds will
be used as specified.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 a.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Alice M. Remare, Clerk
Commissioners of Trust Funds for
The City of Beverly
