A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for June 2008 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of the
minutes from the June meeting. Commissioner Tosi made a motion to accept the
minutes, seconded by Vice Chairman Mahoney. Motion passed unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - Commissioner White presented the financial report for
June 2008. Commissioner Barnico made a motion to accept both, subject to audit,
seconded by Commissioner Forgione. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Chairman's Report - Chairman Vitale updated the commission on the:
. Receipt of $420,000 from the sale of non-aviation use land to Aero Manufacturing
. Status of the proposed sale of non-aviation use parcels to Kelleher Construction,
Rice Rental, and Scanlon Brothers
. Feasibility of additional East ramp tiedown spaces
. Proposed Airport C.I.P. changes
. July 1ih Airport Family Day to benefit Cystic Fibrosis
4. Presentations:
. Jacobs, Edwards & Kelcey - Dave Graham provided an update on a recent RW 16
tree survey.
B. OLD BUSINESS

. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee -Vice Chairman Mahoney discussed the
NxAero premises and asked should a discount be considered if someone wanted to
lease that area and tiedowns, also should the commission consider installing tiedowns
in less accessible areas of the airport and charge less.
. Noise Abatement Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney updated the commission
on run-up tests and discussed a need for noise complaint follow-up procedures.
. Facility Maintenance Subcommittee - No report
. Web site Management - Commissioner Forgione reported on minor corrections and
additions to the airport web site.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - No report
. Environmental Issues Subcommittee (& NSCC Aviation Program Update)-
Commissioner Barnico updated the commission on the Senior Housing zoning
meeting.
. Airport Safety & Security Subcommittee - Commissioner Dettorre reported on some
tree cutting done on Burley Street and on future cutting to be done on Burley Street.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT - Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft
traffic count, monthly landing fee collections, hay farmer LOA status, FAA Reauthorization Bill
status, completion of the Taxiway "H" pavement fillets, June noise complaints, 3rd Annual Airport
Family Day to benefit Cystic Fibrosis, C.AP. lease status, Mass Aircraft Tax Exemption, Wings of
Freedom Tour at BVY, and noise abatement signs.
