Beverly CATV Advisory Commission Meeting

PRESENT:
S. Pike, G. Johnson, B. Murphy, N. Overberg, E. Overberg
PUBLIC:
(BEVCAM) Walt Kosmowski, Dennis Heslet, Don Berman.
· A quorum being present Steve opened meeting at 7: 00
· Public Comments: None.
· Old business:
The minutes of the May 22nd meeting were read and accepted for posting on the
Beverly web site.
· New business:
· Dennis Heslet presented the monthly BevCam report re: Staff, Productions, and Project
Outreach.
· 3 Correspondences received;
1. Steve received from Mayor Scanlon Comcast's form 200, 300, and 400.
George clarified the meaning of each form and discussion followed.
2. Steve received letter from Comcast explaining rearrangement of channels on
the digital box to provide more bandwidth.
3. Steve read letter from Comcast to Mayor Scanlon stating Comcast's intention
to renew their CATV contract. This begins the ascertainment process between
Beverly and Comcast. The license renewal time line will be adjusted to reflect
this.
· George will report to Comcast that channels 2, 4, 5, and 7 had experienced outages.
· The next meeting will be on Thursday, July 24,2008 at 7:00 P.M. at BevCam.
· The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
