Members Absent: Elise Bernstein; Kevin Gallant, Co-Chairman; and Bob Nelson Guest(s): Art Daignault, ADA Coordinator & Ex-officio Member Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Sidewalk signs and tables & chairs are still under investigation. Report on site visit to Beverly Farms Library with the Massachusetts Office on Disabilities, Beverly Commission on Disabilities and Beverly"s ADA Coordinator. There were only two minor access violations were noted. Site visit to Beverly High School is on going. There are many violations that must be corrected for accreditation. The light poles in the sidewalk at Gloucester Crossing are being investigated by the Engineering Department to determine the cost of relocation. Arthur Daignault will train Candace Pike in the art of handicap parking violation affidavits. It was voted to send Candace Pike, new member, to Community Access Monitoring training in April at the Massachusetts School of Law. The handrails are in place on the Cressy Street ramp. They are not in compliance. Mass. Highway has been notified. The next meeting will be April 15, 2004 at 7:00 in the City Council Chambers.
