A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for December 2007 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading
of the minutes from the December meeting. Commissioner White made a motion
to accept the minutes, seconded by Vice Chairman Mahoney. Motion passed
unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - Commissioner White presented the financial
report for December 2007. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a motion to accept the
report, subject to audit, seconded by Commissioner Tosi. Motion passed
unanimously.
3. Chairman's Report - Chairman Vitale informed/updated the commission on the
following.
. Updated the status of the Rice Rental off-airport land parcel
. Reinforced the importance of having a W AAS system at BVY
4. Presentations:

B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney updated the
commission on the liability insurance amount holdup on the proposed NxAero
lease and updated the status of the 3. O-acre off-airport parcel in back of the
AdminlMaint building.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - No report

. Facility Maintenance Subcommittee - Commissioner Forgione said the
subcommittee would conduct facility inspections in February.
. Off-Airport Obstructions - Commissioner Dettorre updated the commission on
tree removal on the MacDonald property on Burley Street in Danvers.
. Environmental Issues & NSCC Aviation Program - Commissioner Barnico
informed the commission that the Special Permit request meeting at City Hall
regarding the Ron Vitale site has been tabled pending knowledge of what
operations are to be conducted in the proposed commercial building.
. Special Projects - No report
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fee
collections, NxAero proposed lease, the reported approval by U. S. Air Force of the Civil Air
Patrol lease, one (1) noise complaint, potential interest by Disney Studios to use BVY as a
movie scene backdrop, RW 34 wetland replication status, BVY instrument flight procedure
info, information on the FY08 C.I.P. project updating the BVY Airport Layout Plan (ALP),
the status of Atlantic Flyer ads, and BVY web site photos.
D. NEW BUSINESS
. Commissioner Lydon made a motion to accept the Fourth Addendum to the North
Atlantic Air Lease dated April 1, 1995 and to forward it to City Council and the Mayor
for approval. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Dettorre and passed
unanimously.
E. COMMISSION COMMENTS
. Commissioner White asked Airport Manager Mezzetti to think about what's needed in
next year's budget (FY09).
F. ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner Lydon, seconded by Commissioner Dettorre.
Motion passed unanimously.
